government contractor specializing in military hardware. Responsible
for procurement of all contracts, all spec underwriting, procurement
of parts, and collection of receivables. Fully familiar with WAWF
(Wide Area Work Flow), CCR (Central Contractor Registry), DD250
(invoicing), RFID (Radio Frequency ID Tags), and DIBBS (Defense Bid
Board System). Able to work through the documentation required to
submit contracts and invoicing through DLA (Defense Logistics Agency)
and the Department of Defense. Responsible for all accounting and tax
issues as well as keeping a full set of Quick Books including P & L
and balance sheet entries.

Duties included bringing a solvent oilseed extraction plant on line
and processing up to 200 ton of corn germ per day production level.
This particular plant extracts food grade corn oil from fractionated
dry corn germ. Charged with raising funds for startup and for
maintaining shareholder value. Responsible for originating all
financial information including budget projections, daily accounting
results, prepared monthly profit and loss/balance sheet numbers,
completed all financial modeling as well as originating and updating
the business plan, and managed and communicated results to potential
shareholders and investors. Engaged in monitoring all accounts
receivable and managed the accounts payable function. Kept operating
expenses (crush margin) below that of other solvent oilseed
extraction plants even though the plant was in the startup phase.
Worked in the shipping and receiving areas of the plant on a frequent
basis and handled the logistics function as well. Fully familiar
with the procurement of raw materials as well as the inventory of
same. Was in control of the marketing functions of the feed mill and
the negotiation of product sales of oil and meal production.
Responsibilites also included the oversight of the plant production
schedules and all plant personnel.
