Project Details

Title : Fabrication and wear test of hybrid aluminum metal

matrix composites.

Description: LM26 type alloy which is used for pistons. This metal taken

to apply to make into a

metal matrix composites by using rice husk ash

and also red mud is mixed along it with

some suitable proportions. The results suggest

that preparation of metal matrix composites

of Al-rice husk Ash-red mud is a potential way

for synthesizing new high wear resistant

and less weight.
