I am searching for a position in which my current skills will be helpful to my employer while

picking up new skills on the job which will become useful in my work.

Graduated from Millard North High School in 2006 and currently in rolled at Metropolitan

Education

Community College where I will be obtaining a bachelors degree in General Studies in both law

as a legal assistant and business management before transferring to Bellevue University to

complete my Business degree.

Employment & • My first job was with Toys R US Inc. in 2005 my duties were working at the cash

register, sometime I would help out the manager at night by shutting down all registers

and collecting the transaction receipts for the day.

• My next place of Employment was with Better Living from 2006 2007. Here I became

certified in CPR and First Aid, and Medication Aid which was very important because I

was working as a care giver to mentally disabled adults who were living on their own.

This was a very rewarding job in many ways

• At Creighton Federal Credit Union I worked for about six months as a credit union

teller inside of Bergan Mercy Hospital. This is where at lost of my skills from Toys R US

came in handy. Assisting customers everyday and learning how to open up and close

new and old accounts, I’ve also learned how to balance the ATM machines and other

interesting techniques that go along with banking. While working at CFCU I also found

a second job as a receptionist at Children’s Home Health Cares World. Which a 24

hour day care center for medically fragile children. I am currently employed here and I

enjoy my job everyday. Being able to see and spend time with the children at my job

makes it hardly feel like work at all. My co workers are very involved with the center

and I feel very fortunate to be able to work in such a great atmosphere.

Training Most of my training was learned on the job. With CHHC World I was able to become recertified

in my CPR training. I have also developed more on my computer entry skills I am now able to

type 60 words per minute with mistakes. LOL I still practice my money balancing at this job

because of daycare fees so I count the checks and dollars and deposit them into the work bank

account. I’m really happy to see that all my skills were able to come together and I hope to learn

a lot more on the way.

Strengths: Enthusiastic, creative, and hard working, very driven to fully completing a job.

Personal

Willing to learn knew things, works well with other. Reputation for providing excellent customer

service resulting in long term customer relationships. Use to working in a fast pace environment,

that demands good organizational skills.

Improvements: Obtaining training in management duties once I have

received my business management degree.

I would like to work for this company because being around professional people in a helping

environment is a comfortable surrounding for me. I enjoy putting smiles on peoples’ faces; I also

get a personal fulfillment knowing that I’ve done my job right by satisfying the customer. I feel

that I will be a good asset to this company because I am a fast learner, and a devoted worker.
