649th MUNS, OL Eglin AFB, Florida

Provide logistics support to the 681st ARSS at Eglin AFB FL for test, evaluation, maintenance,

troubleshooting, repair, storage, assembly/disassembly, transportation, and any other actions for acquisition of

the GBU-39 Small Diameter Bomb (SDB). Ensure all applicable technical data, and government and

contractor guidance is met and implemented during course of all munitions operations and integrated flight

testing. Ensure established military specifications, acquisition program requirements, all applicable safety

requirements, flight test operations, Air Force and local policies, and any applicable governing directives are

met.

NCOIC, AFTRAPP-EGLIN, TSG (E-6) (5/03 to 10/07)

649th MUNS, OL Eglin AFB, Florida

Managed a team of Air Force Reservists accomplishing depot and intermediate level maintenance actions on

fighter aircraft Suspension and Release Equipment (S&RE). Accomplished continuing quality assurance

oversight on S&RE to ensure continuing highest quality of maintenance and productivity on critical assets.

Evaluated operational efficiency of aircraft armament systems and recommended modifications/procedural

changes to increase efficiency and reliability of established directives and procedures. Lead the effort to field

critical TCTOs on the ADU-552/A Missile Launcher Adapter, the LAU-128 B/A Missile Launcher, and BRU-

57/A Smart Rack. As a member the initial BRU-57 TCTO certification team, developed prudent, considered

procedures in effort to streamline and optimize the efficiency of the BRU-57/A retrofit process. Proposed

retrofit and test procedures resulted in highly effective and efficient depot process.

919th Maintenance Squadron (AFSOC), Duke Field, Florida

Supervised breakout and delivery of munitions to designated aircraft locations. Inspected, loaded, delivered,

and stored USAF non nuclear munitions for support of MC-130E Combat Talon and MC-130E Combat

Shadow special operations aircraft. Reviewed and updated training requirements for support of MC-130E

Combat Talon and MC-130/P Combat Shadow aircraft munitions operations. Accomplished specialized

aircraft munitions systems test and maintenance to include stray voltage pre-load checks and other functional

checks on MC-130E, MC-130P tanker pylon guillotine cutter cartridge systems and installed ALE-40, -47

chaff and flare systems. Operated, inspected, and maintained specialized tow vehicles and munitions trailers.

Performed inspections and scheduled maintenance on MA4A bomb racks to include disassembly, assembly,

and repair and testing. Performed periodic inspections on munitions’ assets provided by work orders provided

by CAS system.

919th Maintenance Squadron (AFSOC) Duke Field, Florida

Enlisted as an E-3 in 1986 and achieved the rank of E-6 in 1994. Scheduled and performed scheduled

periodic and unscheduled maintenance on weapons systems with the AC-130A Spectre gunship.

Accomplished loading and unloading of ammunition and defensive countermeasure munitions to meet

aircraft flying mission requirements. Performed phase dock aircraft armament systems maintenance, flight

line, back shop, and Periodic Depot Maintenance (PDM). Qualified in flight-line hot gun procedures.

Scheduled, inspected and maintained equipment using the Core Automated Maintenance System (CAMS).

Trained in current process for completion and submission of change requests for Air Force Technical Orders.

In depth knowledge of publications and guidance to include Air Force Technical Orders, Air Force Policy

Directives (AFPD), Air Force Instructions (AFI), and other publications. Supervised six (6) member AC-

130A ammunition loading crew consisting of a crew chief and five (5) journeyman weapons technicians.
