position or at the time that we signed the contract. Wendy decided to pay

me at the half rate of $12.50 per hour on her own without my consent. After

a week and a half of working at her company, she notified me that she was

not going to pay me any more than around $10.00 per hour during my training

period which I kindly accepted because at that time due to me not having

any other choice. She also said that she never pays more than that during

training. The pay was insufficient to meet my financial needs while

performing the duties of my job on a daily basis. I could not cover all of

my travel expenses during or after work with the decreased salary. At the

time that I quit and filed for unemployment she would not respond or send

any comment to the NC ESC about what had occurred. I won my unemployment

benefits with no contest from her of course.
