Resume:

Samuel E. B. Bulmer

**** *. ***** **.

Milwaukee, WI 53208

** ******* ****

I am applying for the position of Curriculum Developer.

To give you an idea of the level of performance you can expect from me; the

following are eight instances when my work has received national

recognition for instructional design:

(1) While at Air Training command, I created the concept of Career Ladder

Training Plans to map the training needed to not only qualify individuals

entering a new "career field," and to insure continuing education through-

out their career.

(2) While I was on the Air Staff, I was selected to write the Program

Management Directive (PMD) that defined the Air Force's revision of the

Instructional System Development (ISD) Process and created the Air Force

Training Development Service (TDS), as well as, defining the training that

would be required to implement those changes. Of significances was the new

emphasis on attitude development.

(3) When I returned to Air Training Command, I was selected to manage the

$750,000 contract with Applied Science Associates, which governed the

creation of Air Force training programs for trainers, training developers,

and training managers to teach them how to use the new ISD process.

(4) While I was with GE Nuclear, the Institute for Nuclear Power Operations

applauded the program I developed, "TeamBuilding and Diagnostic Skills" for

directly leading to the improvement of nuclear power plant safety. Again,

leadership training was a major component.

(5) When I created Ameritech's (AT&T) Just-In-Time-Training (JITT) remote

access training library, which received national acclaim as a pioneer

effort for leadership, technical.

(6) When the National Training & Development Conference featured our

(Ameritech Information Systems') Sales Training program (which I

developed), as one of three featured programs (McDonalds' University and

Intel's National Training Center were the other two site visits) for

participant visits during the conference.

(7) When, the magazine "American Salesman" documented the conversion of

Ameritech's sales training program as a model for all training

organizations to follow.

(8) When Ameritech chose me to be the Lead Performance Assurance Manager

and, then, ask that I define the position and train the initial cadre of 63

Performance Assurance Managers how to capture, analyze, and improve job

processes.
