Objective

I am in search of a position where I can utilize my prior experience in the

computer field and business world. I am interested in finding a company

that is strong and has opportunities to offer employees in growth potential

and job security. My hope is that I can finish my career with one last job

change.

Major Accomplishments

I have had 28 great years in the IT environment. I had the opportunity in

those years to learn many levels of the IT business, and had the

opportunity to train many others who have been successful in this

environment as well. I acquired a Group 1 Life and Health Insurance

License, and just recently acquired an All Lines Insurance Adjuster

license.

Experience

02/2010 - Current The Home Depot

Amarillo, Tx

I am currently the Tool Tech in the Tool Rental Department at the Home

Depot on Georgia Street in Amarillo, Tx. I have the responsibility of

renting tools, repairing returned tools that need repair, and ordering

supplies for the department.

6/2009 - 8/2009 PMA/Conseco

Amarillo, Tx

I sold supplemental insurance coverage. I also called on existing customer

to go over the policies they had to make sure they understood the insurance

they had and to see if they wanted to move up to higher coverage.

9/2008 - 5/2009 Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas

I worked in the call center as a Customer Advocate. I was responsible for

taking calls from members and help them with understanding the coverage,

making any changes that were necessary, helping customers by talking to

providers to resolve what was paid and what was not paid and why.

1/2008 - 8/2008 Gillum Demmitt and Associates

We were setting up a call center for Agents. My primary responsibility was

install hardware, software, and load data into the database system we had.

Company closed down when economy started getting worse. The companies that

we were going to do business with backed out before we got everything set

up.

I was responsible for selling cars and making sure costumers were

satisfied. I also worked with customers to get resolution to any problems

they with the car they purchased.

3/2006 - 8/2007 The Home Depot

I worked in the Tool Rental department. I was responsible for helping

customers with the tools they were renting. This included making sure they

knew how to use the tool and setting up the contract for the rental. I

would clean each tool that was returned and made sure the tool was working

the way it did when it was returned to us. I repaired any of the tools

that broke.

different Insurance Companies.

1/1977 - 9/2003 Corporate Systems

I worked for Corporate Systems for about 28 years. I started out as an

Operator working the night shifts. I moved into a management position over

the Operations Dept. I worked 3 years as a Manager and was offered a

position in the Systems group. I moved into Systems and learned to install

and support all purchased software. I moved from that position into a

manager position over all of the Mainframe software and hardware. I moved

back into the Operations Dept as Manager of Operations and Printing

Systems. I next started a new position as a Capacity Planner. It was my

duties to run reports and determine the load and the load limit. I was

supposed to be the one that made recommendations for upgrading the hardware

and how much we were supposed to purchase to run the business.
