Research Technician
. Worked in the Gastroenterology lab performing various tests on gastric
samples taken during research studies. Ran tests after samples were
collected at various timed intervals. Reported the results to the lab
manager and the Gastroenterology study board.
Also worked in a grant-based research lab isolating kidney tubules in day
old to 8 week old chicks. The tubules were frozen for further studies.
Results showed that if the tubules were frozen too long, the tubules burst
apart and were not useful for further research.
