Experience CAD Drafter/Designer (3-7/2010): PTSS/MECC, Salt Lake City, Utah

Drafted and designed projects for Mass Electric Construction Company contracted by

Utah Transit Authority for the 2015 Light Rail Expansion Project completion. Main

responsibilities included design of electrical schematics for the Jordan River Service

Center, creating dynamic blocks of cantilever assemblies, and field measurements to

design cantilever assemblies. Secondary responsibilities included AutoCAD 2009

training to field engineers, and consulting more efficient use of ACAD09.

CAD Drafter (6/2007 – 4/2009): CET, Harrisburg, PA

Drafted up to 50 mechanical process design changes on wastewater and water

technologies in any given day. Maintained and updated designs for 4 to 5 projects

per week. Visited job sites to measure and photograph existing mechanical process

equipment. Occasionally assisted structural department on minor structural design

changes. Designed electrical symbol template for mechanical process department.

Responsible for blocking and updating electrical symbols and pipe fittings

templates. Experienced in Architectural, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Process,

Structural, Erosion & Sediment Control, Process and Instrumentation Design

(P&ID), General, Water, Wastewater, and Piping drawing disciplines.

ATM Technician (3-5/2007): ATMSI, Lititz, PA

Handled, exchanged and supplied currency/money to at least 10 to 15 field ATMs per

work day. Repaired and maintained 5 to 10 field ATMs or 10 to 15 lab ATMs per shift.

Repairs in hardware would include harddrive, circuit board, monitor, printer, and cash

dispenser replacements. Software repairs would include operating system updates,

harddrive wipes and operating system/software re-installation. Refurbished late model

ATMs for field placement. Performed daily housekeeping duties to personal automobile

and lab/shop as required.

Engineering Technician (10/2006-2/2007): Daisy Data Displays, York Haven, PA

Produced circuit boards, cables, connectors, displays, and NEMA 4X, industrial grade

computers. Major contractors included the United States Navy, Department of Defense,

and private sector defense corporations. Started with cable assemblies. Produced

anywhere from 25 to 50 cables and connectors depending on complexity per 8 hour shift.

Moved to industrial grade computer assembly. Assembled 10 to 15 computers per day

depending on complexity. Also worked in clean room/lab environment assembling LCDs.

Constructed resistive, surface acoustic wave, and capacitive touchscreens for NEMA 4X

computers. As engineering technician, would perform HAST (Highly Accelerated Stress

Testing). Simulated test conditions included: environment (temperature), corrosion,

ingress, pressure, and moisture variables. Also responsible for engineering change orders,

AutoCAD 2006 drawing updates on cables, connectors and assemblies, and designing

technical specification manuals for our products.

(Field Engineer (3/2005 – 10/2006): Heat & Control, Lititz, PA

Serviced and maintained up to 5 food production machines daily, such as scales, baggers,

metal detectors, and check weighers. Traveled east of the Rocky Mountains to install new

machines. Read electrical diagrams and troubleshot malfunctions. Replaced 2 to 3 circuit

boards whenever needed. Worked with at least 10 diverse computer operating systems in

equipment servicing. Trained staff at numerous customer facilities about machine

operation and maintenance in a classroom setting.

Communications Technician II (10/2001 – 3/2005): Comcast Cable, Lancaster, PA

Activated and/or deactivated up to 15 cable services per shift. Troubleshot and repaired

various digital problems including cable and internet outages. Eliminated cable noise and

distortion in picture. Installed and replaced cable wiring in commercial and residential

locations. Pre-wired new construction in order to provide “ready hook-up” capabilities.

Adhered to safe work practices. Completed work-order paperwork. Cleaned, maintained,

and stocked personal company vehicle and equipment. Managed vehicle maintenance and

repairs. Promoted from part-time to full-time employment, then to Communications

Technician II in 4 years.

Bindery Associate (6/1993 – 9/2001): R.R. Donnelley Printing Co., Lancaster, PA

Performed various duties in producing the Donnelley Directory phone book. Tasks

included loading completed pages into feeding machines, quality control, and

troubleshooting robotic equipment.
