OBJECTIVE

Sales field, utilizing my almost 20 year's hands-on experience as a
Manager/Supervisor/Lead, Troop Motor Sergeant, and a Shop Foreman in the US
Army, as well as most recently working as a civilian contractor in

Served as the Lead Mechanic to maintenance personnel performing the full
range of tasks: Overhaul, repair, and service of all wheeled
vehicles/equipment, tactical and non-tactical, at the Direct Support (DS)
and General Support (GS) level of maintenance. Responsible for
troubleshooting and repair work on suspensions, engines, frames, transfers,
transmissions, differentials, hydraulic systems, fuel and pneumatic
systems, steering mechanisms and turbo chargers. Ensure that safety and
environmental policies/guidelines are followed without exception. Maintains
and oversees section tool room and operation. Completes and assigns vehicle
and equipment job orders for repair to the mechanics. Additional duty as
the Technical Inspector: Performed inspections on different
classifications of wheeled vehicles at the unit and DS/GS level. Conducts
initial inspections upon delivery of equipment; in-progress inspection as
required during the repair phase of the vehicle or component; and final
inspection upon completion of maintenance repaired to ensure quality
product outputs are met. Provide guidance and technical assistance to shop
maintenance personnel; inspection principles on workmanship, procedures to
be employed, and quality of work expected. Conduct cross training for
employees.

Provide mechanical and maintenance support to the heavy wheeled vehicle
section with relation to a variety of light wheeled vehicles as well.
Responsible for troubleshooting and repair work on suspensions, engines,

Feb 2009 - Sept 2009 Bradley Fighting Vehicle Mechanic
Aerotech/BAE Systems
Ft. Carson, CO
. Worked as a mechanic on the M2A3, M3A3 and ODS Bradley Fighting
Vehicles. Service vehicles IAW applicable TMs and unit standards. Work
both sides of the house-turret and hull. Work very well as a team
player to bring the vehicles to 10/20 standards as well as any Direct
Support maintenance needed in preparation to issue vehicles back to
the soldiers. Responsible for the repair/replacement of all major
components and LRUs of the vehicles. Utilize both turret and hull
diagnostic systems as well as electronic schematics to troubleshoot
any problems.

performance evaluations on staff of 5 recruiters. As Commander of my

Station, out of 27 offices for FY 2006. I received several leadership

retirement.

Selected after only one year as a recruiter to become assistant
Station Commander. Placed in charge of all 10 government vehicles.
Responsible for tracking the log books and all scheduled and
unscheduled maintenance.

. Developed and instructed all levels of maintenance techniques and
procedures to new and veteran mechanics alike. Instrumental in the
development of current leaders in the different maintenance sections.
Responsible for the health and welfare of 20 personnel, maintenance
of 9 M1A2 Main Battle Tanks, 13 M2A2 Bradley Fighting Vehicles, 1 M88,
1 M113, 4 HMMWVs, and 3 LMTVs. In charge of all parts requisitioned
and parts needed to maintain a readied PLL inventory for the Troop
vehicles. Performed all QA/QC on vehicles coming into and going out of
service. Ranked #1 in 1/3 ACR in vehicle combat readiness, with an
operational readiness rate of 96% or higher.
Sept 1997 - Sept 1999 Shop Foreman/Team Chief U.S. Army
A Co. 1/18 Infantry - Schweinfurt, Germany
. Responsible for the operational readiness of 14 M2A2 BFV, M88, M113, 2
5 - Tons and 4 HMMWV and the health and welfare of 10 soldiers.
Charged with upkeep and maintaining the Company's PLL. Transitioned
the Company with turn-in of all 14 M2A2's and the drawing of 14 new
ODS BFV. Technical inspections performed on all vehicles coming into
service and QA/QC all vehicles coming out of service.
Nov 1994 - Sept 1997 Shop Foreman/Team Chief U.S. Army
Anti-Tank Troop 2/11 ACR - Ft Irwin, CA
. Maintained 14 HMMVW's that were mocked up to look like Russian
vehicles (The Opposing Force), the 2 ton tool truck and the 2 ton
PLL truck. Made NCOIC of the Squadrons 6 Bradley Fighting Vehicles
used to keep the crews qualified and current with Army standards. Also
got to spend some time troubleshooting the Sheridan. Spent a brief
period of time as the NCOIC of the M88 recovery team.
April 1992 - Oct 1994 Senior Turret Mechanic/Section Sergeant

Alpha Company, 4/3 ADA - Kitzigen, Germany
. 45T Bradley Turret Mechanic for 14 Bradley's. Every six months I had 2
weeks to complete the turret service, running entire Ste M1/FVS on
each and every one. As a Section Sergeant I was also responsible for 3
Hull mechanics and their services. Performed both organizational and
direct support level troubleshooting and maintenance. Also performed
many maintenance tasks as a 63T and 63B working on Bradley hulls, 12-
HMMWV's and 2 5-tons. Responsible for all my paperwork and my
soldiers, as well as parts ordered.

Headquarters Company, 2/66 Armor - Garlstadt, Germany
. Responsible for the state side turn-in of 6 Bradley fighting vehicles.
Worked to get all the vehicles to 10/20 and direct support level
standard. Took all 6 Bradley's through customs to return to the United
States. All parts ordered went through me. Ensured all vehicles were
spotless. The last month I spent shuttling entire families to the
airport for stateside return as we closed down the Army installation.
