Experience

Residential Home Maintenance Service 2001 to 2009

I was the owner and operator of Residential Home Maintenance Service. My company

specialized in the remodeling of existing homes and some commercial work as the

company grew and expanded. I processed all aspects of the day to day operations of the

company. I worked closely with all customers to ensure the highest levels of quality and

satisfaction. In addition I was also responsible for the rental and operation of heavy

equipment such as wheel loaders, rubber tire backhoes, forklifts and track loaders.As I

was the only one involved in the company in the early years I quickly became a jack of

all trades. Listed in the next paragraph are but a few of my many skills in both

managment and the physical aspects of the operation of a company such as Residential

Home Maintenance Service. The company also maintained a small warehuose (5000

square feet) for the storage of building materials and job overflow and salvage materials.

I am skilled in payroll, materials purchasing, project management, employee hiring and

termination, job site managment and supervison and all other day to day operations of a

residential construction and remodel company. The company was started from the ground

up and at the time of sale was generating a net profit of better than $162,000.00 annually.

Hechts 1998 to 2001

I worked as the shipping and receiving Manager for Hecht’s Department Store. I planned

the work schedule for the loading and unloading of all delivery trucks using both

motorized and non motorized equipment. I also did all scheduling for all platform

employees to also planned and insure proper staffing for each day’s requirements. In

addition to these duties I executed all floor moves and new fixture installation. I was also

responsible for maintaining the stores off site warehouse where all of the stores overflow

merchandise was stored and later returned to the store to replace and restock sold

porducts. Inventory control was a major part of my everyday duties.

Lamb Distributing 1995 to 1998

I was the beer sales manager for all the restaurant and draft beer sales in the Triad area.

Some of my many responsibilities included the sale and delivery of product to customers

using company provided vehicles and motorized loading and unloading equipment,

training of new employees and ordering of product from the manufacture. I was also

responsible for the care and maintenance of all equipment and advertising materials

including signage, point of sale merchandise and beer dispensing equipment.

Dolly’s Restaurant 1987 to 1995

I started at Dolly’s as the dishwasher and was later promoted to assistant kitchen manager

and fill in bartender. In that position I was responsible for the day to day operations of the

kitchen including the training of all new kitchen staff the ordering of all supplies for the

kitchen and bar as well as planning and cooking of all meals and specials.
