into reports and city bids and contracts. This job does not require my daily
attendance in the office because most of the business I deal with is handled via
email.

storefront opened at 6363 Hearne Ave Shreveport, La 71108 in November of 2008, but it
has been a tough journey. I have decided to close on this year and refocus on what my
next business venture will be.

I opened this in an effort to save my Dollar Store on January 31 of this year. It is located

to the adjacent side of the Dollar Store. I am responsible for booking the parties, dealing
with the clients, closing the contracts as well as clean up of the events. I am planning to
reopen on next year in a different location that will be more profitable for me but I believe
that I have finally found my niche with this business.
Skills
My skills include an in depth understanding of the business structure and what it takes to

run one. Also with the experiences I have I had I have learned excellent customers
service skills, how to properly do inventory and payroll as well as an understanding of
certain computer programs such as QuickBooks. I have also had the opportunity to have
employees which, through trial and error, has taught me excellent employee relations as
well. I am also efficient in basic functions of running an office such as answering phones
properly, filing and following directions well. I am a fast learner and very professional and
I can adapt and adjust to whatever atmosphere I am in.
