Fraud Specialist-Prevention/Investigations

Reviewing and researching accounts that have been reported as fraud to the bank. This is done

to see if there are any trends or multiple accounts that have the same commonalities and to try and prevent

the fraud before the bank has further loss from those accounts or any future accounts.

Worked as a Fraud Investigator with the bank. This role included investigating Fraud Applications

that have been reported to the bank and recovering the loss from either the merchants or

suspects if one was found during the investigation. Balancing was required in this position due to

posting and debiting fees or charges to the account throughout the investigation.

While in the Investigation position, wrote procedures and trained new hires. The Investigation

position was transferred to another location and during that process was asked to go for several

weeks to train the new employees and management for the position.

payments/accounting posting credit card payments to accounts and balancing at the end of the day.

Fraud phone representative in the call center before investigations. Duties included answering calls for the

department and taking care of the customers needs whether by answering questions or taking reports from the
