CAREER ACHIEVEMENTS
Managed Purchasing, Shipping & Receiving, Clinical, Facilities and on the
Safety Committee. Company was involved a build out I was put in place as
Facilities to work with the builders to facilitate and keep project on
time. After being on the job for 14 months I put my own survey to the
company as a check up on my performance of daily activities and
suggestions. System change over using Expense Watch to Deltek Systems I was
in charge of loading the new system with data.
Results: Finished the build on schedule while doing my daily tasks of
Purchasing and Receiving
My survey I was able to arrange and stream line my daily tasks in a more
productive way to the company. Shipped our RMA's as needed and after
completion of build out I was in charge of Three Suites as far a Purchasing
for the chemistry, biologics, and clinical groups and the up keep of
facilities, safety everyday. Meet once a month with safety committee for
any issues that may occurred during the month. Manage to get the new Deltek
system user friendly for end users could place their orders. Received in
Radio Active Materials and put in the proper care of the RA Manager.
Participated in an external audit for purchasing and warehouse. Developed
processes, procedure, and personnel training. Results: Purchasing and
warehouse passed the external audit with 100% in 1 month of employment.
Managed R&D department's purchasing, capital equipment and use of a
department credit card. Tasked with reconciliation of the credit card which
was maxed out at $50K. Results: Credit card bill was down to a maximum
level of $5k monthly within 3 months.
Reorganized the R&D department's outdated system to keep track of supplies
and company's chosen that caused making non cost effective entries in both
systems. Results: Eliminated outdated system and transferred information
into company's chosen system within 6 months of employment.
Encouraged R&D department was not being cost effective in suppliers used.
Trained R&D department on the Biocom agreement with supplier's under
discounted rate. Results: Overall cost saving using Biocom agreement saved
the company $80k within 1 year of employment.
Monitored 12 animal studies. Setup 12 binders enclosing approved protocols
with legal, CEO, client signatures, purchase order, approved copies of
check, Fed Ex tracking, and documentation of each phase until completion.
Results: Maintaining of notebooks made 100% audit trail for auditors.
Contracted as a full time employee for a pharmaceuticals company. Managed
inventories of Bulk Drug Product, Placebo drug product, DP, and raw
materials stored at another virtual location. Results: Cost savings on
space, shipping to manufacturing sites in UK and Puerto Rico.
Improved inventories of Investigational Drugs, Placebos, stored at Magellan
Labs for distribution and destruction. Reorganized inventories in store
areas in 2-8 C , -20 C , and room temperature. Results: Inventories rated
at 99% accuracy over 3 year period.
Initiated pulling materials of drug lot product, labels, packaging set up
and area clearance into packing room. Coordinated in-house labeling and
packaging with the clinical supplies supervisor in every packaging
campaign. Results: Reduced time and costs shipping to all clinical sites.
