in both clinical and hospital transcription in several different fields of

medicine. Before stepping down to go back to school, I had four and a half

years of experience as a working transcription manager with experience and

training in employee relations, employee training, payroll, scheduling,

Radiology-all types-X-Ray, CT, US and MRI as well as PET/CT, Interventional

Radiology, Surgery-bariatric, cardiothoracic, cardiovascular, general,

vascular, interventional, orthopedic and OB/GYN; Oncology, HP, DS,

Cardiology, Infectious Disease, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Consultations,

Progress Notes, and Behavioral Health. I have been trained in all Cerner

programs related to transcription and patient care. Experience working

proficiently in SoftMed, Intergy and other platforms regarding

transcription. I am trained in DVI and Lanier (now Medquist) for dictation,

AS-400, GroupWise, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word and Excel. Member of AHDI

and AHIMA and will bet sitting for my CMT certification within the next few

months.

FLAGSTAFF SURGICAL ASSOCIATES, Flagstaff, Arizona 2008-present

Responsibilities include transcribing clinical notes and letters for a

group that practices general surgery, bariatric surgery and vascular

surgery. All work transcribed within 24 hours TAT. Platform experience is

in Sage Intergy, which is MS-Word based.

NORTHERN ARIZONA HEALTHCARE/FMC- HIM Sept. 2004-May 2009

Transcription Manager. Duties include to manage, schedule and maintain

appropriate turn around time and quality analysis for transcription

department. I also communicated directly with physicians, FNPs and PAs to

accommodate them in their transcription expectations. I was responsible for

keeping statistics on turn around time and productivity by the department

and also the productivity of individual transcriptionists.
