PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE HIGHLIGHTS
An experienced maintenance logistician, production superintendent, and
maintenance manager; responsible for managing logistics support for a wide
variety of automotive equipment, water purification systems, and other
equipment. Trained mechanics and supply personnel in automotive parts
inventory control and maintenance production management. Strong compliance

Responsible directly to the Maintenance Manager. Supported the 2-401st
AFSB's mission in monitoring, managing and directing scheduled and
unscheduled maintenance for Army Preposition Stock (APS), Theater Provided
Equipment (TPE) and Operation Needs Statements (ONS) as required, which
included repair of combat vehicles, tactical vehicles, communications and
electronic materiel, artillery, support equipment, small arms and crew
served weapons, engineer equipment and operations involving allied trades.
Responsible for assisting with all programs and missions involving repair,
refurbishment and overhaul of military equipment with limited repair and
return to user maintenance. Assist with management of a Direct
Support/General and support maintenance mission. Managed two sections,
Planning/Production Control, responsible for preparing reports on
induction, production, man-hour utilization, backlog status of equipment
assigned to work centers for repair, requisitioned parts and/or equipment
for maintenance repair and service. Shop Stock section, responsible for
filling requisitions, work orders, requests, materials, tools and other
stock items for distribution to requestor, sort and place materials or

SQUADRON MAINTENANCE OFFICER
1-17th Cavalry Regiment, Ft Bragg, NC
The Squadron Ground Maintenance Technician for the Army's only Airborne
Cavalry Squadron, responsive to the 82nd Airborne Division's 18 hour no-
notice word wide deployment mission. Advises the Squadron Commander, the
Squadron Executive Officer and the Squadron Maintenance Officer of the
ground maintenance posture and trends within the Squadron. Advises and
mentors 13 Non-commissioned Officers and 15 Enlisted Troopers. Responsible
for Squadron level maintenance plans, programs, and procedures for
maintenance readiness.
Manages the ground maintenance program of over $20 million. Responsible for
the Squadron's $120, 000 Class IX account and the requisitioning of repair
parts using logistical tools and STAMIS which consisted of, ensuring which
Class IX repair parts were authorized in the unit and in what quantities,
parts ordered when they reach the ROP, request/pickup/receive repair parts,
ensuring repair parts were protected from damage and partial parts
received were controlled and stored in a secure area to prevent pilferage,
excess parts were turned in promptly, maintain a neat and accurate document
register and reconcile the document register with the current status
received from the supporting supply activity (SSA).

TASK FORCE MAINTENANCE OFFICER
Task Force Atlas, Afghanistan
Oversaw accountability and turn-in of excess repair parts, resulting in
saving the Army over $160,000. Identified and analyzed maintenance and
supply trends, initiated actions to locate, expedite, and resolve logistics
issues. Significantly reduced order to ship time by coordinating and
networking with item managers and logistics representatives to expedite
repair parts for critical fleets. Led the team effort to eliminate all over-
aged Non-Mission Capable (NMC) equipment work orders, accomplishing the
complete elimination of the work orders within 4 months into the
deployment.

82d Combat Aviation Brigade, Fort Bragg, NC
Tracked and managed the ground fleets for the entire Combat Aviation
Brigade, which included over 230 pieces of equipment. Identified and
analyzed maintenance and supply trends, initiated actions to locate,
expedite, and resolve logistics issues. Achieved a 90% readiness rate for
all equipment. Conducted bi-weekly maintenance meetings to achieve
synchronicity and unity of effort in preparing for deployments.

MATERIAL READINESS MAINTENANCE OFFICER
XVIII Airborne Corps Distribution Center, Fort Bragg, NC
Tracked and managed 27 automotive fleets of the 13 major subordinate
commands (MSCs) and 4 Divisions within the Corps with a staff of 31
maintenance and logistics specialists. Identified and analyzed maintenance
and supply trends, recommended courses of action to enhance the vehicle
fleet readiness. Initiated actions to locate, expedite, and resolve
logistics issues.
Responsible for developing and preparing several high-level reports: the
Corps Readiness Brief, Materiel Readiness Reviews, Corps Support Command
Logistics Readiness Reviews. Responsible for managing automated systems for
tracking repair parts and productivity. Provided management oversight
impacting the process of material reporting throughout the Corps.

MAINTENANCE OFFICER
2d Forward Support Battalion, 2d BCT, Fort Carson, CO
Responsible for the combat readiness of over 750 pieces of equipment worth
over $45 million. Joined the unit in Korea during the fast-paced train-up
for deployment to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Represented
the battalion in all maintenance functions, including consolidation and
review of equipment readiness reports and overall operation of a
consolidated maintenance facility.
Initiated the necessary maintenance support required to prepare over 300
pieces of equipment for deployment. Traveled to other units Supply Support
Activities, the Marines Supply Management Unit (SMU) and the Corps rear
requisitioning parts for the 2d FSB's equipment. Developed, implemented,
and monitored the organization's automotive equipment maintenance program.
Meticulous approach to organizational maintenance operations was the
driving force behind the successful convoy of 65 vehicles traveling over
600 kilometers from Kuwait to Camp Al Taqaddum, Iraq.

BATTALION MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
559th Quartermaster Battalion, Hunter AAF, Savannah, GA
Responsible for the maintenance readiness and deployment of over 300 pieces
of equipment in the only active duty water battalion in the 3d Infantry
Division into Kuwait and Iraq; equipment included 130 wheeled vehicles, 30
trailers, 30- generators, 30 pumps and 12 3,000 GPH Reverse Osmosis Water
Purification Units (ROWPU). The team distributed over 5 million gallons of
water to support fighting troops in Iraq. Played a vital role by ensuring
the maintenance team kept all the vehicles, ROWPUs, pumps, and generators
running. Focused on class IX management, interacting with item managers and
local vendors in achieving 10/20 standards on all equipment.
On redeployment, forged a working relationship with the 94th Maintenance
Company (GS) which was being integrated into the battalion. Developed a
plan to effectively utilize 24 civilian mechanics contracted to the
battalion to assist in redeployment maintenance operations.

BATTALION MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
260th Quartermaster Battalion, Hunter AAF, Savannah, GA
Responsible for the operational readiness of over 650 pieces of equipment,
supervised and managed all aspects of the Battalion's Maintenance Program,
which includes shop operations, command maintenance, environmental
compliance, automation systems, the Army Oil Analysis Program, and repair
parts support. Achieved and maintained over a 97% equipment readiness
rating through exceptional repair parts management and maintenance
operations. Also achieved a 95% equipment readiness rating with over 90% of
the vehicles receiving as commendable rating. Turned a marginal
environmental program into an outstanding system which exceeded 90% rating
on two Installation Environmental Inspections. Built a model safety program
which set the standard for the battalion.
