Profile
I am a recent graduate, studying physics, engineering, and mathematics. I
have excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills;
studied abroad in China in 2006. I love to work in a team environment; I
participated in student academic groups that organized and ran events and
fundraisers for the school and surrounding community. I was also a student
athlete in football and track and field at Linfield College, serving as a
track and field team captain, and an athlete on our 2004 football national
championship team.
I have taken a broad range of classes in the civil department; structural
and construction management classes; I am familiar with business,
procurement, risk analysis, bidding process, sustainable projects (LEED)
etc. with various projects. I have taken business classes that include
but are not limited to economics, accounting, and in graduate school,
project risk analysis with large projects (typically public private
partnerships). I also have great verbal and written communication skills
developed throughout my academic career in my thesis research and
publication, lab write ups, and writing classes.
