Jason Wemmers, Psy.D., recently completed his thesis on work-related stress
and burnout. Jason has 10 years of corporate experience working with
marketing, telecommunications, and private education firms in the Atlanta
area. To that, he has added over five years of assessment and clinical
experience working with the most severe cases at private and public
treatment facilities. Jason was recognized locally and nationally for the

Integrated Technology-assisted Cognitive Rehabilitation Program
Designed, presented, and received funding for a cognitive rehabilitation
program created to meet Trenton Psychiatric Hospital's (TPH) needs for:
o Improved patient care by providing the benefits of the latest
cognitive rehabilitation technology and techniques
o Improved patient quality-of-life
o Increased staff-patient direct contact hours
o Increased employee engagement and retention
o Aligned the hospital with current best practices as established by
scientific research in the social and medical sciences and as mandated
by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare
Organizations (JCAHO)
Supervised the implementation of my cognitive rehabilitation program in the
Raycroft Complex (long-term, acute care) of Trenton Psychiatric Hospital.
Duties included:
o Project Management
o Budget Development
o Leveraged relationships, needs, interests, additional skills, and
legal concerns to acquire resources and meet implementation deadlines
o Monitored program efficacy in meeting customer needs and client
deliverables
o Re-vitalized the Raycroft Complex by educating Raycroft staff,

The impact of this program is highlighted by its inclusion in Trenton
Psychiatric Hospital's 2009-2010 Strategic Plan and an invitation by the
International Society for the Psychological Treatments of the
Schizophrenias and Other Psychoses (ISPS-US) to sit on a professional panel
representing TPH and the New Jersey State Hospital System at the ISPS-US
Tenth Annual Conference in Rockville, MD.
