As the Manager I supervised the onsite millwrights, shop fabricators, machine shop mechanics and was in
charge of sales, scheduling manpower, equipment, material purchases, and project logistics. My duties
included contract writing, billings, estimates, sub selection, divisional customer relations and reported
P&L to the owner. Our new clients included; Grain Processing plants, Steel Mills, Coal Fired Power
Plants, and local government contracts.

Lead Estimator-Project Manager, for a Military General Contractor. Hard bid (from ground up to finished
projects, to include concrete foundations and walks), MATOC, IDIQ, Federal, State, and local Commercial. I
was the lead person in contract buy-outs and subcontract pre-qualification. We used pre-formatted cost based
prices for the United States Postal Service, and Means Cost Works for pricing projects for the U.S. Army Corp of
Engineers. ThomCo was the first contractor awarded a MATOC (Multiple Award Task Order Contracting)
contract.

As the Projects Manager my duties included: Multiple Project coordination, estimating, and project scheduling,
selecting Subs, analyzing project proposals, correspondence with owners, engineers, expediting manpower and
equipment, and reviewing submittals. I assisted in creating and enforcing company polices, new employee
orientations and employee reviews. In this position I was the principal person in charge of the companies P&L,
sales and marketing. By creating a need- based query we were able to market our services to a broad base of
clients, this allowed the company to grow from 17 employees to over 100 within a two year span. New clients
included; Steel Mills, Coal Fired Power Plants, Tire Manufacturers, Chemical Transfer plants, and Grain
Processing Plants.
