•My initial project was to help lead the merging of PAC BELL with MIDWEST BELL. The task was to

Systems Analyst/Programmer Analyst

The Pet and Human food supplier, Ralston Purina, contracted me for the tasks listed below during their

transition to the new 'Ralcorp'.

•Analyzed the Specialty Foods Advertising system and the Consumer Products Accounting Control system in

preparation for the separation of the Human Foods (Ralcorp) portion of Ralston from the Pet Foods.

This was done by studying existing documentation and interfacing with the users of both the Pet and

Human Divisions of Ralston.

•Maintained and altered existing programs, and JCL, for the ‘HOT CUT’ from the old Ralston environment

into the new Dearborn Michigan environment for the SFAV system and the CPAC system.

• Used and taught M/S Revolve for consultants on the project so that they could use the software to document

the old ‘Legacy’ systems. Developed new programs for ‘one time’ use. These programs manipulated

data so that the existing data files would interface with the newly developed Oracle based client

server accounting environment being implemented by Cap Gemini for Ralcorp.

•Created new documentation for the old ‘Legacy’ systems I was responsible for.
