Career Profile: Four years working in specialized fields. Acquired skills are in electrical wiring, pipe
organ building, transportation, tourism, customer service, teaching, and general labor. The broad spectrum
of work has allowed me to become adaptable to the varying demands of employment.
• Lead Tour Guide: Employed by Alaska Travel Adventures guiding Denali backcountry Jeep
Safari. Maintained a genuine fun and friendly disposition for tourists. I met the other needs of the
company by performing office work, vehicle maintenance and pulling vehicles out of mud holes.
Acquisition of Class C CDL was necessary.
• Electrician Apprentice: Employed by Christensen Electric skillfully applying commercial and
residential electrical installations under journeyman supervision. Skills specific to pipe bending
and commercial make-ups.
• Delivery Driver: Employed by Corporate Express delivering office supplies in a timely manner
to respective clientele. This included the sure delivery of all ordered packages, managing a
specified route, and vehicle upkeep. Customer service and satisfaction were key responsibilities.
• Tonal Assistant: Employed by C.A. Zimmer to assist in planning and realizing tonal aspects of
custom pipe organs. Tonal work was highly specialized and required strict attention to detail. Also
worked in low voltage electrical wiring and woodworking.
• Teacher: Employed by BYU-Idaho Music Department as student teacher for classical music
theory. Reinforced new concepts introduced by professor. Assigned and graded homework and
tests.
Education: Bachelor of Arts Degree Music/International Studies, BYU-Idaho 2006. Recipient of the
2005 Percussion Director’s Award for accomplishment in the percussion field of study. BA degree
requirements also allowed me the opportunity to begin study of Mandarin Chinese with culture and
literature.
Electrical Apprenticeship, Salt Lake Community College, 2009-2010. Partially complete.
Accomplishments/Service: Spent two years in the Philippines. This was a commitment which involved
communicating and teaching in the Tagalog language.
I have seen ways in which items of everyday use can be improved which has led me to pursue patent
development, with a strong interest in manufacturing techniques.
