Being a salesperson in a larger dealership is very competitive but

can be extremely rewarding when you work hard and organize

your time wisely. In this job, I was trained by top sales

managers to sell and to gain good relationships with

customers to reassure their business with you in the

future. I gained skills that made it easy to start

conversation and to gain personal friendships with

customers by relating to them in some way. By doing this, I

would find the customer's needs and immediately point

him/her in the right direction of what they are looking

for. I also gained experience in finances. Overall, while

working in this high pace work environment and spending 10

to 12 hour days (Monday-Saturday) I learned a great deal of

how important it is to manage my time wisely and to be the

best at what you do.

For the past couple of years I have gained experience by

specializing in many different areas of home renovation and

construction to include indoor housing (custom hardwood

floor installation, construction framing and building,

hanging and finishing drywall (finishing basements and

detail work), roofing, installing windows, siding, and

interior doors. I have built custom shelving, framed and

poured concrete sidewalks, and built storage sheds. While

in high school, I completed a three (3) year program in

Automotive Technology. I have been interested and have

worked on cars since age twelve (12). My skills in

Automotive Technology include steering and suspension,

brakes, electrical systems and engine performance. I have

mastered the techniques and skills to work on automobiles

and have taken the ASE Certification tests and mastered

three of these complex areas of the Automotive Industry

(brakes, steering and suspension, and electrical systems).
