. Supplier contact for 95 suppliers in the fields of injection molding,
metal stamping, metal extrusion, airbag inflator assembly and raw
materials such as pvc pellets, paint and magnesium ingots
. PPAP reviews and approvals of assigned suppliers on all new model
products
. New model part development support with suppliers and customers
. Approval of quality standards of suppliers per customer's
specifications
. Conduct Supplier Audits to insure processes are within set perimeters
. Approve countermeasures implemented by suppliers when applied to
workflow to insure process produces quality product within tolerances
set up by customer
. Interface with customers and suppliers to establish Product Limit
Samples
. Oversee sort procedures when NG product is received in-house from
suppliers
. Partner with internal departments to conduct Supplier Performance
Reviews
. Attend New Model Trials in-house and at supplier's facilities to
insure parts are within correct specifications
. Travel to suppliers 50% of the time for trials, audits or quality
issues
. Manage 2 (two) Quality Technicians to ensure work is being prioritized
. Interface with Honda on all issues related to Service Parts, including
implementation of in-house countermeasures and proper documentation
. Work with Production to insure quality issues that arise are
identified correctly before suppliers are contacted to begin sort
activities
Shipping Supervisor. Green Tokai Company. Brookville, Ohio. October 1992
to July 2001. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:
. Manage a group of 8 (eight) in a shipping/warehouse environment
. Set up expedited trucks to deliver product to the customers
. Insure daily shipments are loaded into semi-trailers for delivery to
customer's facilities
. Verify all staged orders are correct and ready for next day shipments
. Create short list and distribute to production to insure late parts
are produced and shipped in a timely manner
. Customer contact between customer and production if customer has
schedule/quality issues
. Scan all outgoing freight to create Bill of Ladings
