PROGRESS RAIL SERVICES/CATERPILLER 5/08-Present

Human Resources Specialist

. Manage and process payroll (Unitime), vacation/personal time pay,

deductions, direct deposits, efficiency bonuses and employee status

changes.

. Recruiting, hiring, interviewing, pre-placement criminal background

checks/drug & physical screenings, orientation and employee records

management for both production and non-production positions, including

WERNER LADDER COMPANY 8/05-5/08

Human Resources Administrator

. Managed recruiting, orientation and training for over 100 warehouse

operators, 6 Supervisors and 6 clerks in a two-shift distribution

center.

. Processed payroll (JD Edwards), garnishments, deductions, direct

deposits, benefits, EOB's, VOE's, new hire paperwork, I-9's, employee

records, OSHA, Worker's Compensation, RTW clearances, FMLA and

attendance system tracking.

. Handled labor relations, conflict resolution, progressive discipline,

terminations and unemployment claims and hearings.

. Managed non-DOT and DOT pre-placement/post accident and random drug
