Ocean Import Lead: Support Ocean Import Supervisor in maintenance of
the Ocean Import's department operations and procedures by: running

I.T.'s, T.E.'s, I.E.'s, and other Customs Forms as required. Assist
department employees with questions on rates, use of AS 400 system, and any

Ocean Import Agent: Handle customer accounts for import ocean
freight in all aspects as an international freight forwarder. Organize and
process import documentation for Customs Brokers. Prepare arrival notices
and delivery orders. Communicate via email with DHL offices worldwide on a
daily basis. Assure freight is expedited for a timely delivery.
Additional responsibilities include the rating of ocean freight shipments,
invoicing customers, and payment of supplier invoices. Significant amount
of communication with both customers, and transportation providers.
Cargo Claims Coordinator: Preformed data entry of claims filed
against Airborne for lost or damaged freight, including the assigning of
all international and high dollar claims. Answered phone calls from
customers regarding procedures for filing claims and provide explanations
for claims settlement.

consolidators, warehouses and Customs Brokers to insure proper shipment and
delivery of supplies to all Cruise Ships. Performed on site supervision in
the loading of supplies while vessels were in dry and wet dock. Prepared
monthly non-financial standards reports for Deck and Engine Purchasing
area.
Accounts Payable / Deck & Engine: Responsible for tracking invoices
from vendors and routing documentation internally for payment approval.
Created and updated weekly standards reports. Supervised 2 - 3 seasonal
employees within the Accounts Payable department. My direct contact with
vendors and vessels led to the creation of the Purchasing Expeditor
position.
