Final Year Project Vehicle Tracking System using GPS & GSM

The project could track down the position of the vehicle, its

position (longitude and latitude), distance covered by the

object as well as its direction. The system provides with

an additional facility of SMS between the server and the

vehicle. Technologies used were :

. Implemented Chess with all functionalities

This project was done as an Object Oriented Programming

semester project. We developed a Chess game using

Microsoft Foundation Classes (MFC) in C++.

. Implemented a file allocation System for floppy (built in

BC)

It was term project of operating systems .The requirement

was to create a new file allocation table and save the

files in floppy according to that table.

. Library Management System (Built in VC++)

It was a console application developed in course

"Introduction to computing".

. Hardware implementation of FM and AM radio

According to the FM and AM range,using variable

resistors,mixer,different chips and capacitors we

implemented FM and AM radio.

. Antenna Design

Made Patch antenna which receives no signal at 90 degrees

rotated.

. Photo mosaics

The input was of two types:

First input was a complete picture and the second input

was a piece of picture which was taken from a folder

which had thousands of pieces of different pictures.These

pieces had different transformations applied on them like

scaling and rotation.Then these pieces were taken one by

one and by correlation it was determined that whether it

is a part of the input picture or not.
