I am currently serving in the U. S. Army stationed at Fort Benning, GA with

an ETS of 10/30/2010. I have over 12 years experience in heavy construction

equipment operations. Operated Scoop Loaders, motorized graders, 18 wheel

vehicles (flatbed), front end loaders, forklifts, Trac-hoes, rollers, and

scrapers. Assisted in the building of hard surface highways, athletic

fields, airport runways, and various earthworks. Worked 18 hour days to

meet project completion dates. Provided engineer support during flood

relief efforts. Recognized for outstanding performance on numerous

occasions.

While stationed at Fort Benning, I worked in R & U where I had to receive,

store, and inventory items; check incoming shipments of stock; store items

in established locations, and setup specific locations for new items; tag

locations and enter names, quantities, and locations of stock onto locator

records; conduct inventories by counting items on hand, searching bins for

missing items, taking recounts as necessary, and coordinating with

supervisor; issue and process returned items; select items based on

specific identifying information, or by converting shop terms to standard

nomenclature, stock or part numbers; refer to locator files, issue and turn-

in records, and part number change lists to identify and locate items;

follow up to assure return of non-expendable items and check upon return

for damage or maintenance needs; may perform minor maintenance such as

cleaning stock and parts, applying protective coatings, and replacing

wooden handles on broken tools; reports damaged or inoperative tools.

Assessed maintenance needed in Company building and barracks. Wrote up and

submitted work orders according to importance.

Earth Movement - Cleared land, built roads, airfields, athletic fields, and

constructed a variety of earth barriers by moving boulders, trees and

earth. Loads were moved upwards of ten miles in distance. Interpreted and

followed information contained on grade stakes and make cuts and fills

within specific limits. Personally moved over a hundred tons of earth a

half mile in one week.

Equipment Operations - Operated a variety of heavy equipment without

accidents and major breakdowns and at times under difficult environmental

conditions. Operated equipment in a manner that allowed for job completion

within established time frames and in accordance with construction

standards. Trained other team members on proper equipment handling.

Recognized as a safe effective operator.

Road Building - Built roads while serving as a member of a scraper crew.

Involved in not only grading the road, but also involved in compacting and

making ditches to facilitate proper drainage. Was part of a road building

team that built at least a mile of road each day.

Supervision - Received daily tasks and made decisions on the job each team

member would perform. Decisions were made on each team member's previous

performance while assigned to a specific piece of equipment. Evaluated

daily performance and assisted team members in accomplishing unit goals and

objectives. Insured organizational procedures were followed. Received

recognition for effective team performance.I have also spent 2 tours over

in Iraq and have recently retired from MILITARY.I volunteered for a mission

in Egypt,west cairo,the mission was called Bright star 95,the mission was

successful.

Cover letter,I have skills in different areas,some are from just being

around the right people,carpentry,mechanic on light and Heavy

equipment,some electrical,concrete,Drywall,Body mechanics,Auto

customizing,land scaping,assembling and disassembling.I have been taught to

have a system when you are working on a project,also a forklift operator,I

always do a good pmcs before starting up my equipment.I do have

certificate's in some of the skills that I carry.
