I have worked in the concrete industry for more than 16 years. I have been
an educator, trainer, and promoter
throughout the U.S. and the world such as Mexico, Japan, Turkey, Greece,
Nigeria, Egypt, Bermuda, China, Guyana,
and the US Virgin Islands. I have presented at over 80 seminars and have
been the main speaker for national trade
Shows such as The World of Concrete and the National Pool and Spa
Association.
I have spoken on numerous topics including concrete overlays and stains,
cast in place decorative concrete as well
as the manufacturing process of pre-cast concrete countertops and
furniture.
I have also presented at numerous American Concrete Institute chapter
meetings.
I write articles for the Concrete Network on decorative concrete and have
had articles published in national trade
magazines such as Permanent Buildings and Foundations. I consult with a
number of manufacturers of concrete
additives and specialty items.

I worked 7 years as the Director of Engineering for a large concrete
chemical company where I researched and designed concrete products such as
additives, grouts, hardeners, sealers and coatings on a National and
International scale. I maintained company technical support which included
customer interaction and traveling on-site for technical problems. I have
supervised and implemented the design of new systems for pre-cast, cast in
place and the retrofitting of concrete. This includes everything from the
chemistry and lab work through product introduction. I have also been an
expert witness during litigation on numerous occasions.
