PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY:

Office/Customer Support professional that will improve your company

communication with better production.

COMPUTER EXPERIENCE:

I have a solid history of working with company databases that include

Microsoft Office Suite, Unisys platforms and MAS 90. I have a basic

knowledge of Quick Books and Lotus 1-2-3. My typing speed is 40 words per

minute with an average of 8500 keystrokes per minute in data entry.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Schwabe Williamson & Wyatt Portland, OR 2008-2010

Portland's second largest law firm with offices in Portland, Bend, Eugene,

Salem, Seattle and Vancouver.

Records Clerk

In charge of creating files from the 150 attorneys and secretary requests

in the firm's Oregon offices and Vancouver on a daily basis.

. Reduced turnaround time of requests from a 2-day wait to same day

return. My system streamlined the daily requests by batching multiple

requests from staff into a time based priority system. This met the

needs of attorneys who needed several files created and sent to him/or

her at a certain deadline.

. Developed the system that ensured a 98% on time delivery of legal

files. I was able to divide work time on requests to deliver files

three times a day for the Portland home office and a 24-hour delivery

through the mail and UPS to the branch offices. This resulted in

several appreciative secretaries and office clerks knowing they can

get their work done not long after the request is entered into the

system.

. Continuously reorganized electronic file systems customized for

specific attorneys and cases, including re-labeling elements of each

file for clarity and accessibility. Though not on a rush basis this

was finished with accuracy the same day and greatly appreciated by the

requesting secretary.

. Reorganized case files in the records banks according to their

numerical order. This would take several days because of the large

amount of files over the last couple years being stored. Also

alphabetized the folder room for easier access to folders without

needing a stool or ladder.

. Kept eye on emails for in house requests for files or packets during

the day. A file was needed for an estate-planning attorney would be

sent through on email. I would look up the file number in the firm

computer file to see if it was on site. If it were then I would

deliver to the file clerk or secretary. If not then the file would be

requested from storage and the requester notified. In some cases a

history check would be made for researching who had it last or whether

it was checked out or not.

. Data entry into the database for new company Microsoft-based system. I

was asked to input several pages of information for deletion of old

case files, client industry codes and other tasks with no mistakes. If

I were unable to decipher the attorney or secretary intensions, I

would email for the correct understanding.

. Excellent attendance record that was rewarded with a bonus check from

the firm. The above work done over the last three years resulted in

consecutive quarterly firm honorable mentions award.

Support Clerk 2007-2008

Starting position with Schwabe in delivering mail to all five floors of

the firm. I managed petty cash for postal charges and other fees. All

regular mail deliveries and extraordinary postal need, and help with

furniture removal/placement when called upon.

Global Spectrum/Rose Garden Arena Portland, OR 2004-2007

Management company formed after Rose Garden arena owned by Paul Allen went

into bankruptcy and is known as Portland Arena Management.

Groundskeeper

Patrolled and cleaned forty acres on the Rose Quarter campus for events and

off day cleanup.

. Cleaned up parking garages and campus facilities after events.

. Provided customer service to visitors during the day for directions

and other needs.

. Learned how to drive manual transmission propane trucks for

transportation around the campus.

. Monitored grounds and receptacle trash bins to turn in lost items

including paperwork dealing with ID information. I periodically found

several pieces of mail, bills, etc. and turned them in to the security

office.

. Earned complements on my good attendance and staying around when

inclement weather was forecasted. Was noted in my review that I very

appreciated for my ability to be on 10 days straight during a trying

Rose Quarter event.

. Attended Oregon OSHA workshop and on the safety committee for the Rose

Garden/Coliseum campus. My recommendation for notices of not sitting

on the barriers in the parking garages of the Rose Quarter was

implemented shortly after leaving.

Northwest Corporate Credit Union Portland, OR 1999-2003

The corporate headquarters of credit unions in Oregon, Washington and

Idaho. This included clearing, assigning stop payments and notice of

insufficient funds to accounts sent in by member credit unions. Now known

as Southwest Corporate Credit Union.

Return Item Specialist

Responsible for incoming telephone calls from member credit unions and

financial research for affidavits faxed.

. Data entry of item returns for client members. This had to be done

mistake free or the credit union balances would be off. All data

entry work was sensitive to give the best to our client credit unions.

. Conducted tedious financial research that included using older camera

machines and film that lacked clarity. These projects would take a

month at the most with having to go offsite to find outdated film

before it was updated in 2001. My research led to convictions of

embezzlers and a labor union chief in a pension fund scam at the time.

. Balance individual credit union return checks daily. The checks had to

be counted up for insufficiency, stop payments, and other reasons and

be exactly the listed amount.

. Manned sorter machines that sort out the checks to be either filed

away in trays or marked for returns. This was strenuous work because

it has to constantly checked to be error free and required standing

for several hours a day with the 250,000 checks that came in daily.

Once when the machines went down overtime was needed to individually

match each check to the lists provided by the 63 credit union branches

to pull overdrafts and stop payments.

EDUCATION

Graduated from Evergreen High School in Vancouver, Washington. Earned

certificate of graduation at the Vancouver branch of Business Computer

Training Institute (BCTI). I returned for a refresher course in 2004 in

office automation in Lacey, Washington.
