Manages all aspects of corporate event planning, including an annual

conference with a $330,000 budget. Produces and manages on-site, 3-day

educational meetings to drive sales. Duties include negotiating hotel

and event contracts, building attendee registration system, monitoring

and transporting on-site marketing materials including printed marketing

products, personalized education binders, and market updates. Oversees

event set-up, orders all food and beverage, determines AV needs, travel

needs, manages speakers and assists with presentations, adjust the

suitable venue and provider based on each client's event specific

requirements. Educates clients and provides recommendations on location,

hotels and vendors. Determines the most viable concessions and finalize

final invoices and follows up on delinquent attendee payments.

representatives, internal staff, external clients, boards and

committees. Manages and strengthens relationships with vendors in the

Creates and implements policies and procedures for all events. Produces

and updates conference specific section of client's annual work plan.

Works with other departments to effectively manage project deadlines.

Registration and Housing Manager

Developed procedures and managed registration and housing for three

international conferences hosted by the American Cancer Society,

including the on-site registration of 7,000 attendees, created

production and distribution logistics of seven different conference bags

and materials. Arranged shipping of all on-site materials, supervised

preparation and distribution of promotional materials.

Responsible for hiring, training, and managing 50 volunteers and

temporary staff, assisted VIP speakers.

Focused on areas of program development and preparing the CME/CNE

accreditation applications for 450

speakers. Also, participated in gathering sponsorship quota totaling

$100,000.
