Responsible for 4 separate sites on Nortel/Avaya TDM PBX and Cisco Unified

Communication Manager and Cisco Unity voice mail with 800 lines, 10 PRI and

managing over 40 mobile users.

. Maintain full responsibility for the college wide telephone system,

from programming and wiring into the Nortel PBX or Cisco call manager;

creating voice mail accounts and designing call handlers, to

monitoring and resolving ISDN PRI issues with vendors.

. Administer, troubleshoot and program Nortel option 61c, option 11,

Cisco unified call center manager, unity voicemail, unified messaging,

Security Camera Engineer

Lead a team to install a college wide security camera system with 112

cameras, 7 DVRs in 2 campuses.

. Engineered a design scheme to reduce overall cost of wiring by using a

single UTP CAT5 cable to each camera and using passive video baluns to

transfer video signal over a twisted pair. Power was also transmitted

over the same CAT5 cable and distributed to an electrical junction box

at the end.

. Researched, developed and charted a wiring structure to simplify

troubleshooting, reduce cost and increase reliability by using a 66

punch down block to divide and distribute wiring to video and power

sources.

. Installed and configured a state of the art digital DVR system with

record on motion, and secure viewing available anywhere in the campus

as well as on browsers and smart phones.
