I managed the production of the Finance department, the individual
Managers and Sales Associates throughout the month. Sought to maintain
on track thru the end of the month a $1100 dollars per vehicle or
higher, and the percentage of each product sold to maintain the
Product Index at 315 or higher. The PI projection is established by
the company and reevaluated quarterly. The original department PI
projection that was set up when I started was 269 and had not been any
higher the prior years. The last reevaluation of the PI projection was
315.
I implemented the use of the Menu Style Presentation which listed all
the products that were offered. I also trained how to conduct a proper
customer interview to obtain all the necessary information needed to
develop an effective personalized menu.
Desk deals, assisted in closing customers, and submitting credit
applications to lenders using the Dealer Track or Route One system for
auto loan approvals.
The Contract in Transit report was kept cleaned by making sure that
contracts were funded (Cashed) within 3 to 5 days from date of
contract.
Accounted for all down payments either by receipt, by execution of a
Promissory Note or a Hold Check Form with a check attached that had
to have a Telecheck approval code or had to be signed off by the
General Manager for approval. Collected money from customers who had
not paid by due date of Promissory Note and any returned checks.

I designed a computerized tracking program. The tracking program had
the ability to track the
Deals, Sales and Finance gross and product percentages. The program
had the ability to generate all the Final Month End Reports, such as
each Department's Total Gross, individual Manager's and Sales
Associates' production. My program was implemented through out the
entire Casey Auto Group.
I implemented the use of the Menu Style Presentation to offer all the
products that were offered.
I performed customer interviews to obtain the necessary information
needed to develop a
customized effective menu for each customer. I assisted in the
training throughout the company
with this process. Once the training was completed the company's
profit and product sales increased significantly.
