Mark W. Kendall
P.O. Box *****
Tucson, AZ *****
Gentlemen,
When you find that my qualifications fit your needs, I would like to discuss the possibility of
working with your company. I desire a position that is challenging and yet within my abilities to
achieve a high level of success for the individuals I work with as well as myself. I learn very quickly,
think well on my feet and rarely make the same mistake twice. I believe when selected, I will meet
your needs while satisfying my own.
• My experience in construction and business management spans over twenty five years. I have
excellent communication abilities and organizational skills. I am a hard worker who expects
nothing short of the best from the people I work with, as well as myself. Despite the usual
delays and problems with fast tracking projects, replacing non-performing Subcontractors, etc.,
all of my projects were completed on time. This is to include ones taken over mid-project
and behind schedule.
• Safety and quality of workmanship are pet peeves of mine. Diligence in following O.S.H.A.
regulations in concert with plain common sense has helped achieve ZERO time loss accidents
during my 20 + years as a superintendent and general contractor. In addition to being a top
hand in both finish and rough carpentry, I also possess work experience in almost all trades
related to commercial and residential construction.
• I have enjoyed traveling across the country working on larger retail stores. (45,000 + sq ft) My
projects have varied, from higher end, St John’s Knits and Banana Republic, to middle of the
road, Gap multi- line stores, to the warehouse style of Old Navy and discount styles of Ross
Dress for less. The experience I possess also extends to complete renovation, inside and out,
of several motels and restaurants, to include- Best Western, Econolodge, and several non-
franchise motels, and restaurants. I believe that my experience with many of your current
clients will be a good fit for both of us.
My compensation requirement is negotiable, contingent upon salary vs. hourly, medical benefits,
bonuses, retirement, travel, expenses, etc. Please find attached a copy of my resume' and references.
For questions, complete project list or if wish to schedule an interview, please feel free to contact me
on my cell phone:520-***-**** anytime. Thank You for your time, I look forward to speaking with
you soon.
Sincerely,
Mark W Kendall
