Objective
My objective is to bring research leadership into
an organization to help them capitalize on the
value of a user centered focus.
I have a real and grounded passion for people and
have a strong sense of empathy. When I discovered
the User Experience Research field, I knew this is
where I belonged and have continued to grow in
experience and knowledge ever since. I was raised
in a family with a small business focus. There
needs to be a combination of user experience with a
strong focus on making an organization more
profitable and stable.
I have worked to bring the practice of Usability
and Research to a repeatable process. I use many
tools in this process including heuristic analysis,
primary research, usability testing, A-B testing,
stakeholder interviewing and others. Understanding
who the users and stakeholders are, what their
goals and needs are, what their environment is and
how to bring value to the user and the organization
is really my guiding principal for User Experience.
A true leadership role in user experience research
ensures balance between the needs of the
users/customers with the needs of the organization.
