CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER
Plan, organize and manage commercial and retail construction projects from
inception through closeout and occupancy. Oversee site work, new store
construction, store expansions, remodels, emergency construction, and
demolition projects spanning the east coast, from Delaware and Pennsylvania
throughout Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. Simultaneously
manage 8-15 projects per month, from $20,000 remodels to multimillion-
dollar site development and ground-up construction of buildings and strip

PRE-CONSTRUCTION
. Assist with reviewing blueprints and drawings, estimating, developing

developers, subcontractors and client representatives to review site
and building plans, specifications, construction schedules, material
deliveries, time and action plans and costs.
. Plan, procure and staff subcontractors. Make as needed recommendations
to replace weak performing subcontractors and secure out-of-area subs
that are better equipped to meet project time constraints.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
. Manage and observe work in progress for each project to ensure
procedures, practices and materials conform to specifications,
budgets, and timelines.
. Represent company and client at all project meetings with architects,
subcontractors, developers, engineers, and municipal/county/state
government agencies. Coordinate with civil engineers and state highway
administration officials regarding utilities, water, and sewer.
. Investigate site development and construction issues and implement
corrective actions to keep projects on track.

attorney and commissioners to resolve major utility issues
initially overlooked by site engineers and secure timely release of
