Implemented a visual department at corporate, introducing the company to
plan-o-grams, maps, visual merchandising seminars, displays, standards,
brand recognition, collateral and stronger and more visible graphics etc.
Designed and opened 3 new stores in Pasadena, Burbank and Encino, created a
new modern, clean and organized look that is more customer friendly as well
as environmentally friendly. Pasadena and Burbank have both been a huge
success and have earned back their cost in 6 months, they have also
resulted in many successful investor walkthroughs. Encino opened 11/2010.
Created a display program selling prime end cap and platform real estate (5
of each) to vendors on a monthly basis, I have earned $530,000 GM$ in one
year so far plus the earnings from selling the actual product featured
averaging $100,000 each month. The unit sales increase anywhere from 60% to
600% depending on the product shown.
Visited expos to acquire new products as well as designing product, and

in the largest district in the company (9 x $3-10 mil stores) accomplished
through visual presentations, creating innovative tools, training and
coaching of store associates, managers and district partners on standards,
merchandise flow, big picture, traffic patterns and shop ability.
Built an annual double digit increase in each store due to strong visual
presentations and monitoring the store's alpha rankings, sell through,
department totals and communicating daily with the VP's, buyers and
analysts of needs, issues and customer feed back.
Created new innovative tools such as a Visual Communications Board and a
Daily Standards Checklist (both were rolled out company wide). Created a
Close to Open checklist and wrote a Visual Updates letter to the stores
weekly to simplify and streamline all the home office communication.
Upheld quality visual standards and built a strong reputation as a Market
Merchant resulting in numerous corporate and investor walkthroughs which in
