I am seeking a position with Hart Energy Consulting as an Associate Editor.

OBJECTIVE STATEMENT

As an Associate Editor for Hart Energy Consulting, I will use my experience

as a communications professional and former journalist to help develop

quality newsletters, reports and online content using my well-honed writing

and editing skills. I will work to support the company in its mission to

communicate clearly and effectively with clients and customers and protect

and promote the company's overall image.

SELECTED PERSONAL ACHIEVEMENTS

. When beginning newspaper career, and with little experience at a daily

newspaper, successfully assumed responsibility for selecting and

editing stories, designing pages and producing a 3-4 page sports

section two nights a week on the sports editor's days off.

. Took over design, layout and copy editing for client Trizec

Properties' internal communications newsletter. Utilized experience

designing newspaper pages with QuarkXPress to produce newsletter from

start to finish. Consolidation of production resulted in reduced costs

for the company.

. Managed a team of two part timers as part of a major energy company's

PR/community relations speaker's program initiative. Led the team in

securing a record number of speaking opportunities for the year.

. Utilized experience as a reporter to assist team in media training for

a group of energy company executives. A controversial plan to build

additional generating facilities in Texas received extensive press

coverage and the training prepared the company's spokespeople to

communicate effectively with their audience and reassured them in the

face of ongoing media scrutiny.
