January 2010- to-date

. Working as a Development Engineer in SHAHBAZ GARMENTS.

RESPONSIBILITIES

. Working as a head of Research and Development department in Machine

Knitted glove manufacturing unit.

. To develop new samples as per customer's required levels for Mechanical

Resistances( Abrasion, Cut, Tear and Puncture resistance)

. Have developed unique and innovative process of dyeing of gloves made up

of Dyneema GSM (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) yarn.

. Have developed glove with three layers of yarn also called sandwich

glove.

. Have developed new terry insertion machine for Ice Gloves.

. Have developed Lubricant to use with yarn to avoid corrosion on machine

when using wet yarn.

. Have visited Sri Lanka in 2010 for official training of SHIMA SEIKI flat

bed knitting machines and for new developments.

. Working with wide range of synthetic( Acrylic, Nylon, Lycra, Polyester,

Kevlar, X3, Silver Dyneema, Steel yarn, glass fiber Etc) as well as

natural yarn ( Cotton, Wool Etc) and its blend to achieve required

Mechanical properties so that the glove can easily bear the applied force

. To plan and design complete specification of the required size glove

before production.

. To develop glove with high cut resistance property according to EN 388

standard by using different functional yarn. E.g. Kevlar, Kevlar Steel

plied yarn, Dyneema (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene Yarn),

Abratex Etc.

. Hands on experience on SHIMA SEIKI flat bed knitting machines (7 Gauge,

10Gauge, 13 Gauge,15 Gauge and 18 Gauge and Terry ) and on Dyeing

Machines for dyeing Nylon with Acid dyes.

. Calculation of consumption of different yarns use for making respective

glove

. Coordinating with each department (PVC Coating Dept, Nitrile Coating

Dept) for making product compatible for respective coating

. To develop HPT(Hydropellent) property on Nylon glove through different

wet treatments to make the Product cost effective

. Managed all critical problems of production and continuously reviewing

different production activities / flow for improvement to increase

efficiency and reported directly to the Factory Senior Managers and

General Manager.

. Solved major quality / Designing problems which temporarily halted

production.

December 2008 - to-January 2010

. Worked as an Assistant Manager CE-Marking in SHAHBAZ GROUP OF COMPANIES.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Marking' of 2 departments based on exceptional abilities of
