Pepper Construction of Chicago and Tarlton Corporation of St. Louis
Cost estimator for the Joint Venture Construction of an urban retail
mixed-use development in downtown St. Louis.
Project entailed collaboration with the purchase, condemnation, and
demolition of property on 77 separate parcels in the four block area,
and the environmental remediation necessary prior to the construction
of a four level shopping center seven level parking facility and a 25
floor office tower on the site.
Responsible for completion of over four hundred change orders on
design-build project.

Field manager for all construction including liaison work with city
officials, inspectors, utility coordination work, manpower
utilization, equipment allocation and materials purchasing and
delivery for an industrial/commercial design-build general contractor.
Projects managed included large jobs such as the General Electric
locomotive motor repair and replacement facility in Fenton MO; medium
sized contracts like the Forsythe School in Clayton MO.; Continental
Grain Company's grain sampling facility on the riverfront in East St.
Louis IL; Headquarters for Survival Technologies Incorporated, in
Brentwood MO and numerous office warehouse facilities in the greater
St. Louis area.
GS&S also did a fair amount of tenant finish work in the St. Louis
area shopping centers.
