documentation for patients on cardiac, obstetrics, and medical-surgical floors. Handled
medication administration, dressing changes, IVs, catheters and all other aspects of nursing
care. Facilitated admissions, discharges and transfers; prepared chart notes and other
documentation.
Key Accomplishments:
Treated an average of 4 patients daily on a cardiac floor.
Attended a PICC conference in Seattle to see how babies born to addicted
mothers get treatment for withdrawal.

Senior Practicum: 48 hours, Obstetrics Unit: Worked intensively with patients to
promote a healthy delivery of baby. Care for mother and baby postpartum.
Observed 2 C-sections, and 3 deliveries. Catheterized, started IV’s and
monitored patient and fetus during all stages of delivery. The other 48 hours
were completed at a long term care facility. I was an assistant to a clinical
instructor for the second quarter students. Providing guidance with care plans,
observations, and medication passes.
