EXPERIENCE

Project Surveyor

Cherokee, NC

In charge of surveying layout for the foundation aspect of the multi-

million dollar extension to the Harrah's Cherokee Casino (anchor bolts,

footers, and beams). I have to use my math skills everyday to make many

calculations on the job site. Other aspects of my job include elevations

for the grades on the site, doing hand sketches when needed, purchasing for

the company, deliveries, and invoices. I work directly with the project

manager to accomplish the goals of the crew.

I developed the skill of using a Topcon robotics instrument. This resulted

in an increased efficiency in construction layout. I possess a strong

proficiency in C&G software. I have worked in many aspects of the surveying

field; slope staking, boundary surveys, deed research, pipe and building

lay out, finished paving, wall construction, topo, monuments, and field

adjustments. I established an effective working relationship with

subordinates, contractors, and the general public.
