Dock Worker Casual Part Time
The primary function of a Dock Worker is to efficiently sort, handle, and
load freight into and unload it from over-the-road equipment, containers,
city trailers and/or straight trucks in accordance with oral and written
instructions, as well as federal and state regulations. Work as an on call
employee. Perform freight handling using appropriate motorized and manual
equipment, including but not limited to: forklift, pallet jack and hand
truck. Verify documentation matches freight description (e.g. type, weight,
hazardous materials), using current electronic or manual system. Secure
