Designed; HVAC mounting braces and pipe routing, Observer lunch
cooler and seat arrangement and attachments to railcar frame, Flooring
layout and safety strips to emergency exits, Sheet metal to enclose the ADA
Lifts on two of the three Railcars for the South Florida Rail Transent
System. Did conversion of drawings from earlier versions of railcars for
Rockey Mountain Vacations Railcars.

11-00 to 9-02 On contract to Baseline Industries, Lyons CO.
Designed packaging configurations for the RAMS, and Total Hydrocarbon
Analyzers. Too meet customer and NEMA requirements. These instruments were
modeled using Autocad Mechanical desktop ver 6. This required the design of
new sheet metal and machined parts, also the necessary cabling to connect
the various detectors and electronics.
5-00 to 9-00 On contract to Sta-Fab, Denver CO.
Hired to evaluate the use of Mechanical Desktop in their business of
building Stainless tables for the food industry. All though the tables are
custom built they are produced from basic parts. These parts do not require
the power of MDT.
5-97 to 9-99 Direct with Crosslink Inc. Boulder CO.
Responsible for the design of all three units, EDSMU, EIU, and HUB.
This includes the Sheet Metal enclosures and all internal mounting
brackets, Cables, Harnesses, PCB mechanical configuration, and all
assemblies and part lists. All designs where done using Autocad Mechanical
Desktop ver 1.2 through 3.01. Schematics where done using Orcad
Schematic Ver 7.2. Customer requested we design the Environmental Design
unit. This is a variation of the EIU unit with changes to the PCB
assemblies and cables.
3-97 to 5-97 On contract to Crosslink Inc. Boulder CO.
Initial concept design of Experiment data System, EDS, for Space
Habitat. This was determined to be made of three sections the Main Unit,
EDSMU, the HUB and the Experiment Interface Unit, EIU.
12-95 to 2-97 On contract to EMASS Englewood CO.
Cyclone project, Designed the Cables and harnesses. This required the
selecting and sizing of wire, cables and connectors. Determining cable and
harness lengths and routing. Also designed the Control panel and AC
distribution assemblies, including sheet metal and development of all
associated models and presentation to Pro E PDM.
Universal Cabinet project, Designed the cabinet to accept drives
manufactured by various vendors, and mate to the ALE, ALE2 and ALJ multi
media mass storage systems.
5-05 to 11-95 On contract to Radar Railcar Denver CO.
Design of potable Water, Fray Water black Water, Fuel tanks and sub
floor structure, for eighteen car train, Also the plumbing systems for each
using CADKEY 7.
1-95 to 4-95 On contract to Rapley Engineering services
Layout and design of conveyors for automated brick manufacture.
6-94 to 1-95 On contract to PRC Englewood Co.
Performed layout of buildings for Flake Potato Processing Plant
including the stem walls, footers and arches. Re-Designed the conveyor
systems to improve the manufacturing process and reduce cost. Then designed
customization of can filler machine to meet customer requirements.
