Responsible for site supervision of the $3million Waverly Public

school project.

Duties comprised of supervision and management of all site-based

activities including organising and co-ordinating subcontractors

and suppliers, ensuring a safe work site at all times, ensuring

timely delivery of quality projects in accordance with client

requirements, and developing and maintaining excellent

relationships with client representatives, consultants,

subcontractors and authorities.

Nov 2007 - Aug Instrumentation Designer - Middough Consulting Inc. ( Kalamazoo,

Provide integrated engineering services for Cargill

Designing of electrical and instrumentation specifications.

Commission and Qualify (C&Q) construction of projects in

accordance with drawings and specifications. Confirmation of

construction package accuracy (point-to-point, tagging, etc.).

Design panel layouts and produce CAD documentation.

Generation of all project P&IDs (process and instrumentations

diagrams).

Design instrumentation diagrams using Auto-Plant, in addition to

Instrumentation design involving drafting of P&IDs and creating an

overall instrument list.

An instrument list would generally require the breakdown of

instruments sorted by type valves, pressure transmitters,

temperature transmitters flow by type, analyzers by type, VFD's

then by analog or discrete instruments.

Create instrument index using excel or access database and

maintain the records with continual updates for weekly meetings.

Make changes by P&ID up-dates.

Design production lines in AutoCad and Bentley's Mircostation,

which involved creating Loop diagrams, Interconnection diagrams,

Panel layouts and Bill of materials.

Interface with PLC or HPM Diagrams and produce instrument location

1997 - 2003 Plant Superintendant, St. Julian Winery (Paw paw, MI)

Accomplishments:

During the 23 years of working for St. Julian as a general

laborer onto becoming the plant superintendent I designed and

implemented various improvements to the winery including, but not

limited to the following:

$2m design and build of new production facility using same square

footage to increase production resulting in an increase of 16,200

units to 36,000 units per day.

Invented cap ejector for new capping machine resulting in increase

of 14,400 units to 33,600 units per day.

Designed conveyor that pushes chain of product up 15 degree

incline then to 40 degrees for a 55 degree incline maximizing

space utilization.

Major plant expansion of 400,000 sq ft (36,000m2).

Responsibilities:

In charge of all production departments.

Responsible for the design and construction of all projects

including liaising with consultants, contractors and vendors.

Managed construction trades including excavation, structural,

roofing, electrical, plumbing, pipe-fitting, steam, gas,

refrigeration and joinery.

Responsible for timely completion of projects within budget.

1992 - 1997 Maintenance & Production Supervisor, St. Julian Winery (Paw paw,

Scheduling of over 60 staff to maintain daily production quotas.

Manage machine set up, sanitation and clean up.
