Selected Accomplishments

Turn-around. Material was delayed in delivery for critical pipe systems to

complete. Determined and implemented process improvements to ensure

continuation of project. Increased overall productivity by 15% resulting in

the completion of work assignment to specifications and time table.

Project Management. Chosen by EBC management to execute projects off site.

Planned, prepared and scheduled production operations, and directed project

site setup and material deadlines to support project, staffing, and

manpower plans. Oversaw execution of production schedules to ensure product

data such as types, quantities and scheduled delivery dates were in order.

Completed project on time and with-in budget, securing significant referral

business from client.

Developing quality improvement processes. Chosen as part of team for

implementation of innovative quality program for better quality performance

in production. Directed set up of program with categorizing of conditions

and training of supervisors. Resulted in better trained supervisors in

quality performance and better procedures, leading to significantly

improved quality of product.

Career History

General Foreman, AES Mechanical Services Group INC., 2010. Direct all

hydronic piping and testing of pipes, portions of the system. Ensure OSHA

compliance. Manage oversight of completion from sub-contractors to ensure

fence installation, paving and landscaping is completed within

specifications. Lead teams up to 18.

Pipe Craft Manager, Atlantic Marine Alabama, LLC, 2009 to 2010. Recruited

to coordinate activities of pipe craft and the supervision of 30 to 65

tradesmen and supervisors. Directed projects including new construction and

marine repair. Managed budget of $1M.

Electric Boat Corporation, a subsidiary of General Dynamics:

Pipe Supervisor, 2008 to 2009. Promoted to supervise staff of 10 to 20

tradesmen, while collaborating with alteration team members, project

superintendent and government representatives to coordinate work and

resolve issues. Managed budget of $500K.

Pipe Superintendent, 2003 to 2008. Supervised a staff of 5 to 8

supervisors; responsible for safety of personnel and environmental

regulations (OSHA, HAZMAT), including union protocols, quality of all

phases of production, cost of work performed, schedule adherence using

(EVMS), and continuous improvement over a multi-trade work force. Managed

budget of $5M.
