Contributed to an ongoing social media strategy project focused on
gathering information via Facebook and Twitter in order to develop New York
Life content, resulting in increased promotion and traffic on NYL websites
and micro-sites.
Developed and organized a business plan for future developments and
initiatives within the company's Volunteers for Life rewards & recognition
program. Led a plan and developed a new program to promote new Corporate
Social Responsibility initiatives including volunteering recruitment,
volunteer retention and branding into the New York Life community.
Presented the entire plan to a group of senior vice presidents from agency,
finance and marketing.
Researched, designed, and implemented new strategy on determining New York
Life's "digital footprint" and assessing our business value in terms of
electronic presence. Evaluated multiple channels of analytics and metrics
to create a "formula" for predicting the current value of New York Life
online, and assessing the potential for our digital success.

Twitter to promote participation, audience awareness and engage partnership
organizations for company's non-profit Initiatives: Girls Rock the House
(GRTH) and The NC Governor's Conference for Women (NCGC). Increased
Facebook and Twitter audience for GRTH 0 to over 400, and NCGC to over 600.
Twitter followers were increased from 0 to 720 for GRTH and from 0 to 800+
for NCGC.
Performed event management duties at 5-day Faces of a Healthy Future:
National Conference to End Health Disparities; organized and managed over
100 volunteers, facilitated smooth event operations for over 140 speakers,
communicated with and helped organized exhibitor relations and promoter
relations.
