Summary
Medical Imaging Service Engineer with over twenty years of both technical and management experience.
Motivated equally by technical curiosity and customer satisfaction, I constantly strive to learn new technology in
order to keep it in good repair and performing to its best ability and also to be able to explain its functions and
benefits to the customer in terms that he or she can understand.
Professional Experience
InfiMed, Inc. Liverpool, NY 1985 to Present
Technical Support (Field Service) Engineer 2006 to Present
Installing, repairing or otherwise supporting InfiMed’s Digital Imaging solutions worldwide in person, by phone
and by email. I am working at end user sites such as hospital radiology departments and small imaging centers
as well as working in OEM factories. I successfully managed Alpha and Beta testing of the new i5RF/DSA
imaging platform on site, at Borg and Ide Imaging Center in Rochester, NY and WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital in
Morgantown, WV.
Manufacturing Floor Supervisor, Dept. Manager 1997 to 2006
Because of both my technical problem solving abilities and my ability to work with people I was asked to take
over responsibilities on the manufacturing floor during a time of rapid company growth. I successfully managed
the transfer from engineering to manufacturing of both the GoldOne and PlatinumOne product lines. Very early
in this time frame I was promoted from floor supervisor to department manager, reporting directly to the
president.
Field Service Engineer 1990 to 1997
Technical mastery of the product lines and my desire to learn about medical imaging naturally lead me to transfer
from the manufacturing department to the field service department. During this time I brought my intimate
knowledge of the InfiMed FC1000, FC2000, Theraview and the Video Optics, Inc. television camera to our
dealers and end users and, in return I gained substantial knowledge of medical imaging and many specific x-ray
generators.
Quality Control Technician 1985 to 1990
Self directed in most of my day to day activities I was responsible for and successful at the manufacture and test
of all products. I was also trained in and practiced all of the record keeping and quality control aspects of these
activities according to the FDA’s Good Manufacturing Practices program, the forerunner to today’s ISO…
programs.
