Management, and Troubleshooting in the Machining & Manufacturing Industry.

I have always been a hard working overachiever, thriving on being the person you can

present)

Owner. Completely Run 2500 square foot Small Machine Shop Business.4 Employees.

Enginneer, Design & Fabricate Molds, Fixtures, Tools, Precision Machining.

Very proficient in Multitasking.

Programming & Designing (MASTERCAM 9.1) can work with many Machining &

Drawing softwares. Set-up & Run 3 Vertical Machining centers, (Fanuc Controls, Haas

Controls, CNC Lathe, 2 EDM Machines. Bridgeport’s, surface grinders, drill press,

Project Manager. Responsibilities included full-scale project management including

Preparation of quotes, sales, and sampling. Position involved heavy customer contact.

Operations Manager. Responsibilities included overseeing all aspects of the

manufacturing

Mold-making process in this 25-man shop.

Key achievements: One promotion. Was also offered General Manager Position.

Mayfair Molded Products, Schiller Park, IL (Heavy Automotive) (9/98-10/00)

Tooling Engineer/Special Projects Engineer/Sales. Full responsibility for tool room

as well as

Support of production in compliance with QS 9000/ISO standards. Collectively

designed and

Oversaw all new tooling. Position required heavy interaction with customers relative

to new

Product ideas, concepts, tooling improvements, and prototypes as well as

bringing products to

Market. Also responsible for cost justifications, quotations, and assisting in

closing of sales.

Key Achievements: QS 9000 – ISO certified. OSHA Safety Training (Company

spokesperson

On the Safety Task Force and the Quality Improvement Team). One unofficial

promotion.

Scholle Corp., Northlake, IL (Manufacturing company; captive molding) (9/89 – 9/98)

Tool room Supervisor. Responsible for mold repair and machinery maintenance.

Maintained all molds and analyzed shots and piece parts in order to identify problems

and determine needed repairs for forty injection molding presses ranging from 100

tons to 425 tons and running 24/7. Responsible for all repair decisions and delegation

and supervision of work as needed, along with significant hands-on repair problems. Very

knowledgeable in Hot Runner systems.

Key Achievements: Completely ran five-man shop in the 500-employee plant, supporting

All facets of manufacturing. Developed “Preventive Maintenance Program” and worked

hand-in hand with engineers in the development of faster and better manufacturing

techniques.Promoted three times.

Cameo Mold, Addison, IL (Mold-making job shop) (11/87-9/89)

Leadman. Responsible for programming and operation N.C. System Conversational

CNC, Ingersal EDM, Bridgeport milling machining, Harig surface grinders, radial drill

press. Process included complete injection mold-building from start to finish.

Key Achievements: Built a significant number of molds from partial prints and

sketches, because blueprints were often not furnished. Promoted one time.

All Star Tool and Mold, Bensenville, IL (Mold-making job shop) (1984-11/87)

Responsibilities includes programming and operating Matura 1000 machining center

(Fanuc Controls), Bridgeport mills, Okamoto water grinder, Ooya radial drill press,

Harig and Mitsui surface grinders. Position required fabrication of all mold bases from

Raw stock, squaring up, roughing out all cavity and core blocks, fabrication of core

pins, K.O. Pins and electrode for EDM machines.

Metal Impact Corp., Rosemont, IL (Aluminum extrusion) (9/81-9/83)

Responsibilities: Q.C. Inspector, gauge-maker, die-maker, punch and dies for extrusion.

Nilan Company, Addison, IL (Mold job shop)

Entry-level position. Responsibilities included everything from sweeping floors and driving to

sawing stock for all jobs in this 20-man shop. Gained basic introduction to

machining,including Bridgeport Mills, Cincinnati Horizontal mill, Harig surface grinders,

and Soutbend lathes.
