On contract for Paragon Consulting, assisted in execution

of 95 development test scripts to meet critical deadline

for release of Merck's laboratory information management

system. Drafted a requirements specification, development

and test plan, development summary report, and disaster

recovery plan for a COTS weighing and dispensing

application for Merck's Pilot Lab.

Accredo Health, Inc., Memphis, TN December, 2004 to May,

2012

Designed and managed an online documentation library using

Rational ClearCase, to collect and secure over 9,500 IT

documents. Published a weekly library catalog, listing and

cross-referencing all documents. Designed more than 20

document templates in Microsoft Word.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital,

Memphis, TN April to December, 2004

On contract through TEKsystems, wrote user guides and

standard operating procedures for internationally known

institution researching and treating catastrophic

childhood diseases. Wrote user manuals for proprietary

clinical research information system managing 1,600

clinical protocols and 20,000 patient records. Wrote 20

SOPs to support computer system validation in compliance

with FDA requirements (21 CFR 11). Used AuthorIT

object-oriented single-sourcing tool to manage

documentation.

Bureau of Naval Personnel,

Millington, TN May, 2001 to January, 2004

On contract through ACS Government Services (May, 2001 to

January, 2002) and SEA, Inc. (January, 2002 to January,

2004), served as senior technical writer on a $4 million

contract to develop software for BUPERS. Supported

reengineering project to migrate 3.2 million service

records from legacy system. Edited software requirements

specifications, use-case specifications, test plans,

glossaries, user manuals, and other development-related

documentation.

SCT Corporation, Memphis December, 2000 to May, 2001

Technical writer for a $400 million technology management

company operating City of Memphis Information Systems on

contract. Adapted over 100 policy/pro-cedure documents

from other contract sites to support Memphis operations.

City of Memphis August, 1998 to December, 2000

Technical writer for $7 million City Government

Information Systems Division. Drafted RFP's for the

purchase of several hundred thousand dollars in IT

equipment and services, analyzing bids and recommending

vendors for contract

for $500 million leader in the truckload carrier industry.

Wrote 130-page analysis of company procedures, based on

extensive interviews with all levels of employees and

Wrote and produced newsletters related to information

corporate telephone directory, listing 12,000 employees in

over 200 company locations around the world. Prepared

biweekly reports to CFO, explaining Information Systems

projects, based on information gathered from senior IT

user instructions for Malone & Hyde's ASSET PC-based
