Serve as terminal fuels manager overseeing a bulk fuels station and two retail fuel points located in the
Schweinfurt and Bamberg areas working eight hour days, five days a week while leading five full time employees
and several part time employees.
Established the foundation for the refueling operations amongst the bulk storage and retail fuel points.

Fuel Distribution Systems Operator/NTV Retail Fuels
Work seven days a week, twelve hours a day as a front line supervisor for four to fourteen subcontract workers
from Bangladesh and Nepal tasked with conducting refueling operations on light wheel vehicles for the
Department of Defense and their contractors.
Improved the overall vision of the purpose of the mission that we are currently assigned to complete under
LOGCAP III.
Enhanced the subcontract workers’ understanding and knowledge of refueling operations according to Army and
KBR standards.
Served in a foreman capacity while the assigned foreman was off site, making decisions while maintaining

Platoon Sergeant Petroleum Supply Specialist
Assigned and held accountable for more than two million dollars in refueling equipment and sensitive items while
supervising fourteen soldiers. Responsible for maintaining current databases and spreadsheets to include, but not
limited to, records on training, immunization records, physical addresses, and promotion statuses. Conduct
monthly counseling sessions with my Sectional Sergeant and Squad Leader on issues, such as continuing education
opportunities, the goals and career paths of the assigned soldiers, and basic self development.
Graduated from the Army’s Advanced Individual Training petroleum supply specialist school at Ft. Lee,
Virginia in October 2003.
Earned the National Defense Service medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary medal, Global War on
Terrorism Service medal, Armed Forces Reserve medal and Mobilization in addition to the Army Service
Ribbon all while completing refueling missions in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom II from February 2004
to March 2005. Provided security for the combat outpost, participated in searches and body cavity checks of the
local national population.
Provided leadership and training on transportation of fuels and the refueling of UH 60 Blackhawk aircraft.
Completed the H7 driver’s training and Hazmat course at Ft. Leonardwood, MO during April 2009.
Created an innovative strategy for understanding the enlisted soldiers’ educational and financial needs that
resulted in the soldiers being placed in positions to succeed.
Improved efficiency of aviation refueling methods and the subordinates led by assessing the problems that may
arise while completing operations, implementing standard operating methods and completing training to assure
proficiency, as well as instituting new procedures, which resulted in completing the mission in a timely manner
while keeping the soldiers safe.
Minimized operating times by eliminating the areas of operations that are less functional, focusing on the basic
steps by building a platform and improving efficiency and addressing the needs of the Army and our reserve
unit, which led to a more realistic view and understanding of our job as refuelers.
Developed a new way of communication between the soldiers on the ground and the pilots, which improved the
understanding of what is expected once the pilots land.
